Below I will go over and describe the 9 life areas of the Bagua with its corresponding colors, the body part association as well as its Chinese name. No one area is more important than the other. When used with the Feng Shui principles it can contribute to a more balanced and prosperous life.

- Chinese name: Kan (pronounced kahn)
- Colors: Black and midnight blue
- Body part association: Ears and Kidneys
The career area of the Bagua deals with you career and work. This life area is a great one to tackle if you want to find a better job, increase relationships with co-workers or even get a promotion. The location corresponding to this area of the Bagua is the front and center of your home which would be the front door area in most circumstances.
The Helpful People Area of the Bagua

- Chinese name: Ch’ien (pronounced chyen)
- Colors: Gray, white, and black
- Body part association: Head
The helpful people area of the bagua deals with any traveling you may do. If you plan to travel or travel a lot and wish for safer trips this area is worth curing. It is said that on your travels you will meet more helpful people and will be safer. This area also enhances your relationships with business contacts, partners, employees and clients and so on. The location corresponding to this area of the Bagua is the front left of your house or to the left of the front door, assuming you are standing inside facing the front door.
The Children Area of the Bagua
- Location: Center Right
- Chinese name: Dui (pronounced dway)
- Color: White
- Body part association: Mouth
The children area of the baqua is connected to the well being, health and the progress of your children. If conceiving a child is a problem, try curing this area. This area also concerns the your creativity, artistic and the quality and clarity of your communication skills. In a business this area relates to employees, creativity and communication.
