Another minor Feng Shui cure is the light cure. It comes in three main types: mirrors, lights and faceted crystal spheres. This cure is used for spaces in need of additional light, cheer and brilliance. The levels of light and the quality of light affect the person in many ways making the light cure a powerful tool in Feng Shui.
The general rule with the light cure is that the brighter the better. Lights used in Feng Shui cures don’t have to be on all the time, but they should be in good working condition. If the bulb burns out in your cure, then the cure is void.
Faceted crystal spheres have many used in Feng Shui. They come in a range of sizes. The recommended sizes are at least 1.5 inches (40 millimeters) to 2 inches (50 millimeters) in diameter. Crystals can shift the energy in a space by redirecting the energy towards a more positive or beneficial location, attracting new energy to another location or protecting you from the poison arrows of energy by refracting and diffusing energy flows.
Mirrors play a very important role in Feng Shui. The best shapes for a mirror for Feng Shui use is the rectangle, square, circular and octagon. The square and rectangle shapes represent balance, while the octagon shape represents power and the circular shape represents wholeness and unity.
